Smt. Urmila Singh, Governor and Shri Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister have expressed grief over the sad demise of Smt. Ghambri Devi of Bilaspur district. She was a famous folk singer of Himachal Pradesh. She was 91.
Governor said that Smt. Ghambri Devi played an important role in preserving the rich culture of the State.
Chief Minister said that Smt. Ghambri Devi has contributed a lot for enriching the culture of the State by singing folk songs and she would always be remembered for her outstanding contribution in this field.
Governor and Chief Minister prayed the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss.
