150 doctors to be recruited in Himachal
Shimla: Himachal Pradesh cabinet today decided to further strengthen health network in the state by deploying medical officers in all of the health institutions by recruiting 150 more medical officers (general) on regular basis. The doctors would be recruited through HP Public Service Commission in a phased manner. The government also decided to disburse locational incentives to 63 contractual medical officers on the analogy of Rogi Kalyan Samities. The cabinet decided to permit Rogi Kalyan Samities to operate proposed Jan Aushadhi (generic drugs) stores by outsourcing the dispensing staff at its own level.
