All 4 accused in Aman Kachru ragging case get bail

Dharamsala: A district court on Saturday granted bail to all four students accused of allegedly ragging Aman Kachru, a first-year medical student at Rajinder Prasad Medical College, Tanda, who later committed suicide.

The four students – Naveen Verma, Ajay Verma, Abhinav Verma and Mukul Sharma – were arrested under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code after a magisterial inquiry concluded that he died due to injuries sustained during ragging. Aman Kachru had died on March 8, 2009.
