Hill Top School President distributes certificates to Gujarat Students

Chamba : The valedictory function of the sixth batch of Nature Study camp was held at Youth Hostel Dalhousie.

The Youth Hostels Association of India is organizing this camp for the sixth year in succession at Dalhousie. This batch consisted of 143 participants belonging to 36 schools from Palanpur, Vadodra and Ahmedabad

Suvir Ahuja, President of the Dalhousie Hill Top School distributed certificates to the students and while addressing them he said that “the Kalatop wildlife sanctuary, the snow covered peaks on the opposite side of the Hostel and all the greenery here would have made you feel as though you are in heaven. Dalhousie gains its importance as a tourist spot and for the good schools of this place. So convey this to your friends and relatives and bring more people to Dalhousie.”

Principal of the Dalhousie Hill Top school Banu Pratap distributed medals to the winners of the painting competition held on the topic ‘Environment’:-

1. Patel Jetun Amitbhai-BAPS Swaminarayan Vidhya Mandhir-Ahmedabad

2. Patel Manali Pravinbhai-Sardar Vallabhbhai Vidyalaya -Vadodra

3. Kavin Raval- A-one School – Ahmedabad

The principal, while addressing the students, said that “in the name of development we are damaging the environment. I am happy that you students have also tried to clean the trekking route to a certain extent. You have done a good service to this place.”

Dr. Anis Modi, Dr. Sondarva and Ramesh Hatkar were the escorts of this group.

Ruchit Ninama from Vadodra, Trith from Ahmedabad, Sagar Modi, Jai Singania from Palanpur were the environment leaders of this group.

The students removed plastic material littered in the jungle on their trekking route and at Khajjiar.

The field director welcomed the gathering and Chaitali Joshi proposed a vote of thanks. Devanshi and group from Palanpur sang the prayer song. Riva and Rivanshi sang a Gujarati folk song.
